Job description
The IC Design team is searching for a hands-on, team oriented, mixed-signal
IC design engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the definition
, architecture, design, and release to production of mixed-signal integrated
circuits that implement innovative biometric sensors.
Responsibilities:
Help define products, and architectures for fingerprint sensors
Run behavioral simulations to verify architectural choices and tradeoffs
Mentor junior engineers
Design of mixed-signal blocks, carry out detailed analog and mixed-signal
circuit analysis using both hand analysis and computer simulation
Work with cross functional teams to introduce new products, ensure good
yield and manufacturability
Drive silicon evaluation and characterization
Prepare support documents
Some travel may be required as part of this role
Desired Skills and Experience:
MSEE+8 years or Ph.D.+5 years of experience with focus on IC design
Experience as a mixed-signal chip lead preferred
Strong background in analog design, and design of signal processing chains
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of mixed-signal SoC design and verification flows
Good understanding of digital design and digital design flows
Understanding of behavioral modeling
Strong Matlab, shell scripts & C programming, and bench test skills
Strong EDA/CAD skills
Strong background in signal processing
