Job Summary and Essential Functions: Known for its scientific and
operational excellence, Regeneron is a leading science-based

. Regeneron markets medicines for eye diseases, colorectal cancer, and a
rare inflammatory condition and has product candidates in development in
other areas of high unmet medical need, including hypercholesterolemia,
oncology, rheumatoid arthritis, allergic asthma, and atopic dermatitis.
Summary:
Support the Process and Analytical Sciences Department through small scale
laboratory experiments, as well as analysis, troubleshooting, and validation
of manufacturing bioprocesses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to,
the following:
Perform protein purification and support scientific investigations related
to downstream unit operations of biologics manufacturing processes.
Perform protein stability study and microbial study including bioburden
clearance using small-scale chromatography column.
Support activities to assure that scientific investigations are planned and
coordinated cross-functionally, and executed effectively.
Experiments will be conducted in scale-down models using DOE or other
experimental principles using GE AKTA systems.
Support the execution of an effective raw material use testing and control
plan.

'JMP and advanced statistical software programs
'Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills;
'Word processing, spreadsheet, database management, statistical analysis,
graphing, and presentation programs.
'cGMP operations
Experience and Required Skills: Education and Experience:
PhD in chemical engineering, life sciences, or related discipline with 0-2
years of relevant experience.
Experience working in a purification sciences team, knowledge of protein
separation techniques, experimental design, data analysis using advanced
mathematical tools and protein stability and formulation is required.
Knowledge of microbial study and complex raw material chemistry and
experience in the identification of chemical markers is beneficial.
