Jr. BI Developer (MSBI)
Required skills and experience:
B.S. degree in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics/Math or related
major and 1 years of related experience;
Basic understanding of Business Integration/Data Warehousing (BI
/DW) concepts;
Experience with SQL reporting services, writing scripts and
creating packages is preferred;
Knowledge and experience with SQL query language and Relational
Database;
Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong experience or good hand-on experience with Excel/Access
preferred;
Self-motivated and great teamwork spirit;
Able to coordinate with multi-task and multi-culture work
environment;
Seek for someone who would look for a technical position in the
long run.
Preferred skills and experience:
Oracle, SQL Server, Excel sheets or other relational databases
experience
Application Support experience with financial and data warehouse
applications,
Experience with one or more BI tools such as Cognos, Tableau or
Business Objects
Responsibility:
Business Consultant analyzes the business objectives of the
stakeholder and develops solutions to their business issues.
Data Analyst develops a logical data model.
Requirements Analyst identifies, analyzes, and documents
business requirements and delivers work products throughout the project life
cycle.
Business Architect analyzes the entire business, including data,
goals, process, and organization.
Management Consultant aids stakeholders in developing their
strategic goals.
Systems Analyst translates business requirements to System/
Functional requirements, and then these are passed to Application Developers.
