3d/Video Graphics Simulation and Modeling Engineer - 746393
Description
The Graphics HW Engineer will be responsible for 3D/Video Graphics
Simulation and Modelling.
In this position you will be joining the Graphics Simulator team (Fulsim)
responsible for VPG hardware modeling of 3D graphics, media, and display
engines in C/C++. You will work on spec definition and algorithm development
(along with architects, micro-architects, and Design Engineers), and own
the software design and validation of new pipeline features. You will also
work closely with RTL, validation, SV, graphics driver, and silicon debug as
this is the primary reference model for VPG pre and post-silicon validation
activities.
Qualifications
You must possess a Bachelor of Science degree with 3 years and/or a Master
of Science degree with 2 years in Electrical Engineering, Computer
Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline. Grade level based on
relevant experience level.
Strong C++ coding skills with OOP experience
Knowledge of graphics standards & media specs
Familiarity with Intel Graphics Hardware Architecture
Understanding of digital electronics and logic design
Good knowledge of IA, PC platforms, and modern OS
Experience with IA assembly, Perl, and Ruby
A self-starter with strong problem solving skills
Good planning and team player
