Teaching and Research Division
Associate Professor / Assistant Professor in Medical Science (PR054/16-17)
The appointee is expected to teach basic and clinical medical science
subjects, such as medical diagnosis and internal medicine; conduct
independent research on digestive/neurodegenerative diseases and/or cancer,
and contribute to the development of the School.
Applicants should have a PhD degree or equivalent professional qualification
in biomedical science with several years of teaching and/or practice
experience and an outstanding research track record. English proficiency is
essential and basic Chinese is preferred. Knowledge of Chinese medicine
would be advantageous.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two to three
years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual
agreement and availability of funding.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
