Clerking for FEDERAL judge counts.

exceptions: Clerkship for Justice Tobriner probably was very difficult to get
and would count a lot.
Clerkship for a federal court judge is not so difficult to get if you go to a
good school in a right location. But you need a green card to be eligible if
you want to be paid with the federal money---the kind of clerkship you do
after graduation.
As to becoming a law professor, none of the other factors are more important,
