Yes, you can put it in the locker, but can't take it into the exam area.

provided here), do it at your own risk. But if you want an answer with
authority, the patent office is only a phone call away.
That said, the short answer as I understand is F1 can't take the bar. But it
would be possible case by case if you are in OPT.
