发帖数: 43 | 1 Sorry that there is not chinese input here. Last month I tried to refinance
my car from a car dealer because they provide lower interest rate. I signed
the contract with them and new account has already set up for me. I has
started to pay first monthly payment. But my previous auto loan creditor
still hasn't received the payoff so far. As the result, I still received the
bill from my previous auto loan creditor. Then I contacted the car dealer
today. I was told they filed bankrupcy under chapter 11 last Friday. They
promised they are responsible for paying my old loan to my previous auto
loan creditor. But they can't tell me when they will do that and it is up to
the court I guess.
I am seeking legal assistance to protect myself here. Should I hire a lawyer
on this matter? Please share your experience and expertise with me. Thank

sign the retainer agreement form with the lawyer, what is the professional
way to protect myself? I mean how'd I make sure that the lawyer gets my
money and eventually achieve what he/she promises? Thank you very much!

more. The 10,000 $ is already in their pocket. To be honest, I don't know
what to do is my best interests at this point. I need to discuss with my
lawyer first. Thanks so much for your advices.
