Love After Love
Walking down this road,
afraid my loneliness will multiply,
I talk to my own shadow.
Waiting, at the end of the road,
is a love that is reborn
from the ashes of a volcano.
It has been too long between two eruptions.
Besides my shadow, I had no other companions.
The moon saw this love come twice
when she unbuttoned her black bodice,
once in the sky, once in the water，
once in silence, once in music,
once real, once surreal. So many times,
I invited her to drink solitude at night.
To return the favor, she promised to keep an eye.
Lost my heart's umbrella in a perfect storm,
I have learnt to live with regrets,
but I don't know how to live without this love.
Missing it, my chest would have been hollow.
That will drive me crazier than this love does.
Now it comes back like an echo
with the passion of a melting mountain.
Its familiar pitches make my heart tremble again.
As its message says so, walking toward me,
through the moonlit passage, is you.
I love you, always do.
If our love is a sin,
let time stone us into a fossil,
carry us a hundred centuries
with its flowing lava, so people are warned
that the price of love is endless burning.
Love me too, will you?
If our love is a torture, let it be.
Let our love be hotter in the fire.
Let the fire melt our heart and soul.
This is our fate. There is no other way.
Together, we can count flowers in the day,
we can count stars at night,
to alleviate our guilt.
I love you, always do.
In love we transcend our time,
and the time beyond us.
Time will envy us for a moment and
continue its lone journey without a shadow.
We have planted yesterday's roots.
They will grow a tomorrow,
full of love fruits.
Love me too, will you?
Come, immerse in my love,
come, immerse in me.
I'll love every second of you.
I'll touch every inch of you,
kiss you like a passion flower.
Dancing, tangled, in a world
washed with moonlight, are You and Me.
You, are whY, Me, the Man, goes wild.
The bitter sweat, the sweet We.
It's a love in the making.
If we are going to die,
die hard for our love.

Besides my shadow, I had no other companions. 不知道为什么用besides而不是
except.
invite the moon to drink solitude想起举杯邀明月。
it comes back like an echo想起diamond and rust里的一句歌词It's all come back
too clearly ...

We both could have died then and there

Then give me another word for it

And at keeping things vague
Because I need some of that vagueness now
It's all come back too clearly
