We’re proud to bring award-winning independent filmmaker and Fuzhong alumna
Yi Chen (’99) to New York City for a solo show of her photography and
films. FL 324 has won a Peer Award from TIVA-DC and Best Narrative Short at
Our City Film Festival. The film has toured film festivals in the United
States, including DC Independent Film Festival, Heritage Film Festival, and
Falls Church Film Festival. House of Happiness is a work-in-progress vérit
é documentary about the life inside Washington, DC’s Chinatown. Ms. Chen
will personally be here to attend the reception and photography exhibition,
as well as to participate in the post-screening Q&A with attendees. If you
are like us, you don’t want to miss it!
The event is free of charge and includes a 7-course Chinese buffet dinner at
the reception. The original photographs and DVD copies will be available
for purchase at the event. A $20 donation is suggested at the door. All
sales proceeds and donation go to support the foundation in its scholarships
programs.
