each time pine auto downloads the emails in inbox from the server to the
local folder. How can I turn it off? I want to upload saved local emails
back to the server through pine. Any one can help me out? Thanks a lot.

IMAP is more complicated and it takes some time to get used to, but the time
is worth the benefit.
