发帖数: 17771 | 4 换个distro哪那么容易，俺的是从ubuntu 5.04一路升级上来，到12.04觉得以后打算用
LTS了。你说的好用是指什么？界面？反正就那么几个gnome, kde等，这个新的unity用
惯了也可以。臃肿这个跟Linux没什么太大联系吧，不喜欢的预装的东西，删除了就是
了。ubuntu俺觉得稳定性和更新的性价比还不错，你推荐一个这方面更好的？

slow, practically not usable, I switched to Mint.

Most features work out of box even for the newest hardware.
Ubuntu is fucked up deeply.

your own puppet manifests that specify packages/services based on facters,
check into your git repo, then you can rebuild your machine any time, on any
distro.

ubuntu. Mageia is a partial fork from the mandriva company's version to add
more features. So I do not think it is going to die out. SUSE is also a good
option. I mainly use Arch though.
Ironic thing is, if I want the ubuntu work, I have to intensively consult
Arch wiki and try to figure out where the ubuntu config file is and how they
changed the config path ... Ubuntu GUI setting tools are either fail to
change the config file or missing while Arch and other distros' GUI config
tools always work flawlessly. if a distro decide to change the config file
name, structure or path, they'd better make changes to all the GUI tools
related not ONLY for the common used one, really ALL of them. Seems ubuntu
guys always forgot this ..., if they feel lazy, they should not touch the
config file, instead they should change their auto config codes... I do not
know why they do it other way around ... Maybe it is easier to blame the
main stream: oh, their bad, they are not compatibly with Ubuntu.

的软件就删掉，如果觉得太多需要改动就换distro呗，接受不了debian系的跳redhat，
arch都行啊，又不是装上一个distro之后规定什么都不能动 |
