400k loan, 6.25% rate, first year payments
for monthly, total 29,554.43, interest 25,000.00, principal 4,554.43
for biweekly, total 29540.37, interest 25,000.00, principal 4,540.37
keep in mind, the acutally bi-weekly payments per year are
more thank 26, 26.08 somethng... so it's actually didn't make
big difference between monthly and bi-weekly...
if u plan send more principal than those... then the principal
reduces quicker and the loan landscape changes a lot | u*********l 发帖数: 22 | 2 for example, your monthly mortgage is 1000$, but biweekly is $500, looks the
same, but you pay 26 $500 a year, so you pay 1000$ more a year.
if you pay monthly 1000$, and dec you pay $2000 (put $1000 towards principal),
you actually save more interest than the biweekly scenario, although very
little.
