righ now i am waiting 50"HD PDP to drop below $2.5k. costco will have Vizio
50" for $2.5k at august, pretty much i'll go for that one i guess
about 1/3 to 1/2, like Panasonic 42" ED for $2k, 42"HD for $3k
at this generation, plasma is better than LCD for contrast ratio, for
response time, although it has burnt in and half-life issue, i think
still its technology life ends much earlier than that
front projection is good for some occasions, good ht projectors cost a | l****e
发帖数: 476 | 2 i guess you looked at ED plasma and LCD HD(most of biggier LCD are HD today)
if you look at LCDs, say Sharp 45", showing sport events, there are apparent
lagging for faster objects. recent generations of LCD glass are better, but
still there cannot match with plasma's response. viewing angle wise, plasma
is also better than LCD | l****e
发帖数: 476 | 3 latest Samsung LCD is 8ms - it's supposed be much better than previous
20ms/12ms ones. but i just don't think it will be there to match with
plasma pretty soon. before that happened SED would already catch up,
which is essentially millions of tiny CRTs on the panel |
