2006 it was sold $1M, now listed as $200k for auction.
Auction day is on the coming Thursday, only after 2 days on the market.
Seems wired to me: Why choose a Thursday. Why wait for such a short time?
In a good neighborhood where we are looking for housing for a while, and the
pictures look great. So attempting.
Anybody has experience with Auction? |

If they do not answer directly, then must have problems.
No title insurance means that one cannot get loan? The lender usually need
title insurance to qualify the investment. Am I right?
So these auctions are only for big cash cow?

no title insurance means you can lose the home any time if sb claim they ow
n the house, or something else.
some liens could be missed by agent, and that's also why title insurance is
needed

They do not have to sell to anyone if the price is below their certain line,
say 500k |

Anyway, it is an interesting auction on a Thursday only after 2 days on the
market. I would imagine weekend is always better, and I may go just to take
a look for the experience if it is at weekend.
I know people throw cash to buy a new car, but never saw people throw cash
for housing. Would be fun to watch. |

Many may get cancelled or postponded at the last minute.

发帖数: 921 | 10 甭信那个报价，那只是个开始。去一次拍卖会也不错，价钱嗖嗖的就上去了。我们去的
那个拍卖会的经历来看，
第一，有部分房子是可以贷款的
第二，好位置的房子卖价和市场上的REO相差无几
第三，主要的风险来自于没有任何contingency
也许只是个例，仅作参考吧 |
