Sears的sales说这样的话洗完的碗干了以后会有味道。（如果放一个晚上放干的话。）
当然他可能有promote Kenmore (Elite）的嫌疑。但是还是想搞明白。如果哪位大侠用
过Bosch and Kitchenaid/Kenmore就更好了。先谢过了。 |

it just doesn't give you an option to turn it on or off. i actually
would prefer not having heated dry to save energy.

用了以后有什么感受呢？我发现一些经济型的dishwasher，比如LG的，压根就没有
drying的功能。大概就是为了省电，省水吧。

发帖数: 4666 | 4 it's a quite old model. shu53 series. it's probably already 10 years old.
it's actually possible that it doesn't have a heated dry cycle, since its
heating element is not in the tub, but rather underneath the tub and it
heats water by circulating water using a pump to that heater.
but when I open up the dishwasher right after it finishes a normal cycle,
the dishes are quite dry and are very hot, too hot to handle actually.
i have to dig into the manual to see what actually happens.

发帖数: 4125 | 6 I used Bosch SHX98M09UC, I do not think this model have heated drying cycle,
it also does not have hard food disposer.
Maybe other Bosch will have the heated drying cycle. But if you hot water is
very hot (hottest setting on the water heater), the dishes will come out
dry, no problem at all.
For the money, I think Miele and Asko makes better dish washer in this price
range, unless you can get the bosch very cheap.

you're using the econ program. so you don't need to set water heater to
very high.

they suggest choosing the extra option, which let you wait 10-15 minutes so
that it is not that hot.
also i am kind of concerned about no grinder. How often do you have to clean
food residuals? 有些人说放一晚上拿出来会有味道。

the dishes before putting them into the washer. i never had the problem
of smelly dishes after leaving it inside overnight.

to 155F, and in regular and scrub programs, the "rinse aid" cycle is
heated to 161F. there is "drying" cycle in all programs, but it doesn't
specify the temp. not sure if it's heated or not.

water heater element and it can heat up the water itself. raising heater's
temp is kind of dangerous and potentially wasteful, i guess.

the normal run time indicated in the manual. our bosch was running
very slow and i replaced the control board and now it runs at ~90 min
for regualar and ~70 min for econ.

少见的牌子? Viking is most popular brand in kitchen appliance in US (for
nice homes). Dacor is the second most popular US brand for kitchen (I am not
talking about cheap home here). Miele and Asko are both big european that
sells very well in US. Miele makes other major appliance (best european
brand in my opinion) while asko only specialize in wash machine and
dishwasher so they are really good (that is why it deserve to be mentioned
here)

option，想省电可以不选。三层filter。网上的review也很好。那几个牛的有哪个指标

Decor, Miele or Thermador (part of bosch) brand major appliance. Brands like
GE are only used in cheap rental units here.
But you could be live in not so "nice" part of the country, not that is
anything wrong with it. Just like my kids have never seen a car with a
manual cranking windows in their entire life until they go to China first
time.
Sorry maybe my 普通人 here is different from your 普通人.

This is good, but 里外不锈钢的 is not the look you want for nice kitchen. 里
不锈钢的 is good, 外不锈钢的 is not good, you want it to match your cabinets
.
Also not sure how this will perform after 20 years. Miele or Asko will
continue to work like new, but this I am not so sure kitchenaid will last
this long.
If I had choice to start over again for my own kitchen, I would use miele
for everything. It is proven to be the best and very durable. I have
recently seen a miele oven that is over 50 years old, still

这个便宜的miele好像还没有kitchenaid贵。我比较倾向kitchenaid是因为我lp喜欢马
力强劲的，有grinder和heated dry。这样省心省事。我比较节省一些，希望有filter
并且把heated dry变optional。这个kitcheaid两个人都可以接受。我知道讲究的
kitchen里面不要前面的不锈钢门露出来，但是我想我不care吧。我的cabinet也不是那
么高档的系列。我买东西就是在中档以上满足我需要的东西里面找一个best bang for
the buck。如果kitchenaid的reliability足够好，并且deliver以上的promise，我就
非常高兴了。

since ascenta series' inside is not all stainless steel and my wife likes
hidden controls, so it is not in our choice set. it should be a good one too
