the soil moist (need to be muddy if no grass is on it or spongy if there is
some grass already), otherwise the seed will not germainate.
Once established (after 30 days), it is better to water once a day in the
morning before sun rise (1 inch at least, if are not sure how long, set an
empty can outside to measure). You can skip the watering if rains.
If you do not water at least every other day, established grass will go

秋天应该搞次winterize+weed control
春天撒好。

is not frozen.
Fall is the best time to seed or reseed, followed by spring time.
The only thing is sping and fall usually have a lot of rain, so you don't
need to water as much.
To start new grass, I suggest you rent a slit seeder, just throughing seeds
on top will also work, but not as well. Along with some starter ferterlizer
and lots of water, it will grow just about any time of the year. Water is
very important, the
