这个wirless modem, 想请教一下为了达到最好的效果,是否应该把modem接到一个
linksys wireless router, 然后从电脑都连接到这个router? 请有经验的人谈一下.谢

发帖数: 4125 | 3 Your wireless modem is actually a DSL modem and wireless router built into
one unit. If your current setup works fine, do not mess with it.
But if you are experience connection drop or other problems, you can get a
better router.

router很好,所以想了解一下是否买一个比较能够充分利用我的高速网络 | g*****9

current one is only G.
If you only have DSL, your bottleneck is not the router, unless you transfer
large files between the computers.

发帖数: 4125 | 8 If your router allow you to upgrade the antenna, you should just try that
first.
Going to a linksys router only if you have other problem (such a max out TCP
connection when you using P2P).
A linux based (DDWRT, Tomato,etc.) router is better than stock linksys
firmware, unless you buy a business version.
Do nothing if your current router does not freeze up or drop connection.

点。我原来用comcast，带linksys的router,有时候不是很稳定。verizon的用了一个月
了，还没有出过状况。
