If you DIY, 10K should be enough, if you hire out, 20K at most.
Depending on what you plan to use the space for, upgrade to better material
(such as sound proofing if you plan to make it a home theater) could cost
more, but it is best to make it future proof right now. Running cable or
pipe later on could cost a lot more.

basement for kid's play area , small gym and tv room. I decide to do it
myself, I may need hire out some parts of work, and I will come here too to
ask questions.
