not familiar with the selling process while DRE is also handling with
different lawful perspective.
SSN (short sale negotiator)fee is one of them. Have you ever received the
addendum related to this fee before you submitted your offer? Only buyer
agent has fiduciary obligations with buyers. So they are supposed to receive
commission due to the purchase. If negotiator think they are service
providers, they need to get their fees from escrow holder, not from buyers.
If they have some signed addendum not through lender, then those documents
will not be through escrow either and would be considered as concealed
document which might bear concealment or fraud.
As short sale has been going on for a long time, SSN fee is junk fees. If
they still want money for their service, buyers should not burden it. |
