说是还要来几次加药清理才能人进去游泳，花费一共
估计500刀左右。
请问家里有pool的人这个花费合理吗？我家的pool很小，
只是first time house owner，不知道怎么打理pool。
那位好心人能说说pool需要怎么维护？pool service的人写
了要买的几种化学药剂。是不是加进去就可以了？
还需要花500多刀让他们来加药吗？

就是用试纸，定期测，然后根据颜色添加各种东西,自己维护，一年成本顶多$50.

但是500一次肯定是不需要...
去买个pool vaccume，然后定期加chrorine，换filter，有点工作量，但不是太大，有
时间完全可以handle的了

发帖数: 290 | 6 这个不同地区，泳池收费的标准也不太一样，如果在我们这一点都不贵。我们这一般都
是包出去，其实就是六七八三个月，自己什么也不用做，收费一般是两三千的样子。当
然自己也可以做，但是房里房外也不是就一游泳池，多一事不如少一事，自己做不如请
人做。

一年 $50 是绝对不可能的。
千万不要买试纸。
试纸都很不准的。
到 troublefreepool.com 上面找高手解答问题就玩了。
pool 是纸老虎，看上去很难，其实很容易。

这么个20多年旧的小pool，看样子还是找人填了好。用起来费钱
费精力。

最简单就是自己测，把数字贴到 TFP, 人家会告诉你
如何调整。就行了。日常就只有 chlorine 一项。 |

留下什么东西。
刚才网上查了一下，需要leaf skimmer，vacumm，telesopic pole，
是不是就基本可以了？

Telescopic brush. I have vacuum robot so I don't need
to go out to vacuum it. It is part of the pump filtering.
Leaf skimmer is very useful.
HD pool section has all that.
You need to have water test kit, TF100F.
liquid chlorine. 盐酸。All can be bought
at HD.
if you use DE filter, you need to have DE.

在网上买了你说的这些工具，花了60多刀。
再问一下，为什么用液体chlorine呢？
pool的人说我需要买这些, 去cosco买：
Chlorine pucks (tri chlar)
Baking soda
Shock it (calcium hypechlorite)
DE (diatamorous earth)
还有，我家pool至少20年了，filter很旧，
也没有说明，是不是DE的filter呢？
今天才搞清楚open pool要了我335刀，加
药75刀，过几天来vacumm打扫要85刀，
总共500。到网上查说一般open只需要150
刀，看样子被宰了。pool才600多sqft。
我在麻州，一年用不了几个月pool，看样子
明年要考虑填了。

发帖数: 122 | 14 你都已经花了500多了，把pool填了多不值啊。我觉得pool前期投入大，是因为你对
pool不了解， 花了很多冤枉钱， 但你对它比较了解了，花费就少多了。
比如，你可以用bleach代替shock，成本减少很多。有一些pool store，比如leslie，
可以免费测pool water sample，然后告诉你需要加什么，加多少。很多pool chemical
可以在walmart或costco买，比pool store便宜很多。
我用过test strip， 感觉还是比较准的。现在就是每两个星期往pool里面加一些
bleach，现在我的水很清澈，从来没有algea。
另外可能每个月要清理一下filter，也很简单， 就是backwash，把脏的东西冲出来。

Bleach does not add CYA. That is a plus.

Can you tell me what is your CYA level using strip?
How much bleach do you add and how do you know you are adding
too much or too less?

不让卖。今天去了walmart，没有liquid chroine，只有tablet和
ph之类的，bleach只在laundary区卖。请问laundary的
bleach能用吗？请问你们都去哪里买呢？其他的walmart和hd
开车至少半个小时。

You don't want your swimming pool smell like laundry.
On TFP, a lot of people buy bleach from walmart for
pool purpose. It has been done for ages. It even has
a name for this method, call BBB. One of the B stand
for bleach.
I got to pool guys, which with web coupon(print from
their website). I get 12% chlorine buy one get one free.
That is $19.5 after tax for 8 Gallons, have to buy 8 gallon
at a time. About $2 per gallon. Very good deal :-)
Plus they recycle the container, I don't need to have
some any container around.

year on chlorine. I don't keep my chlorine level
off season. Just add a little once a while to keep
it free of algae. Save me chlorine that way.
The pump is 3/4 HP, 2.5 hours per day. I need some
help to calculate how much electricity I am using.
I estimate around $200 a year.
Have the best water to swim, priceless.

maintain. Absolutely worthy. You can waste $500
on a green pool without knowing your number and buy
wrong chemical. The kit can use for years.
You don't need to do full test every day.
Day to day usage using the oto test is fine given
you have low CYA level.
Bleach is not going to be wasted any way,
you might just as well get 4 - 8 gallon now.
It is not safe to swim in a pool does not have
proper chlorine level. You don't want to get
infection right?
Use the pool calculator, add enough bleach to bring your
FC to 4 ppm. And assume 0.8 - 1 ppm drop per day.
That is the best you can do without any chemicals.

一般人没有开这么短时间的吧。我们是夏天8小时，冬天6小时，1HP
pump。估计每年350电费。。。
我们这里水蒸发厉害，每月我估计水费也要20块。加起来50块钱吧。
再加chemicals。

Once you have pool start to turn green, you have to
use a lot more chlorine to bring it down. It is call
shocking the pool, it use about 5 times the normal dose.
and need to add very frequently. |

Not very one has local pool store which provide good deal
on liquid chlorine, like you and me. Some people don't
have that choice. Whatever works to get it cheap.
