I spoke with the listing agent. The cracks you are seeing are hairline
cracks associated with drywall tape. The home has sheer walls installed
after the 94 earthquake. This is extra strength for these older built homes
and quite expensive. Most homes do not have this feature so you are very
lucky to look at a home that features this upgrade. The home is in wonderful
condition per the seller and any problems would be discovered by the
inspector. As far as the seller knows the home is in great condition.
We will get any specific answers through escrow, we can always negotiate
credits through escrow and back out if we don’t like what we hear or see.
These concerns are typical of all homes in Southern California and I don’t
see anything that should be of major concern but ultimately the inspector
will let us know what he finds. |

感觉这agent说话的语气像卖药的，另外tape产生的裂纹都是直的。
看裂纹多少，即使完全没有结构问题，drywall裂纹多到一定程度后补起来工作量也是
很大的。

He doesn't favor the seller, he just favors a quick sale.
Inspector can't possibly find everything. He/she can only see what he can
see, nothing behind drywall will be found.

like this. It sounds like your agent only cares about closing this deal.
