starts on the first day of the next month. Most people prefer closing at the
end of a month so the interest payment for the odd month is minimal. It
helps to reduce closing cost on paper.
But in reality I don't see the difference of closing on any day. The
interest payment is not wasted money. It pays for the extra days of
ownership of the property. |

I read a few articles myself. It sounds the closing date doesn't have a
significant financial impact on purchase loans. |
