Lennox 3.5 ton 13 seer $3,000.
American Standard 3.5 ton 13 seer $2,825.
Goodman 3.5 ton 13 seer $2,400.
Warrantee 一样.
好像Lennox和American Standard一个档次. 邻居家装了 4 ton American Standard,感
觉外机有点吵。
我该换哪个牌子的空调 (HVAC)性价比最好？
是不是等过了夏天换会便宜些？
什么时候有Tax credit?

发帖数: 590 | 3 depends on how long you plan to stay there. If long enough, go for Trane
which has the best qualify in HVAC industry.
Also remember, it is not that easy to replace the outdoor unit only. You
need to check the indoor unit as well because the indoor unit needs to match
the outdoor unit in terms of Refrigerant type.
If you are living in hot zone, you can consider the high efficiency one
because the long operating hours can offset the front cost.
If you are in mild zone, you can consider the Heat pump as well. | B****n

mean they have the same quality? (Most vendors claim the same quality)
The quote I got for Trane is over $3,000. Since AS quote is much lower than
Trane, should I go with AS between AS, Lennox, and Goodman even Goodman is $
400 lower than AS?

Do not go with Goodman.
But your evaporator coil leak, why do you change outdoor unit? YOu can just
change an indoor coil if you are sure it's evaporator leak.

agree with that Good man is not good. for AS and Lennox there is not much
difference.

early breakdown of one, it is hard to justify.
I have used carrier, lenox, trane and goodman and found the only difference
is price, lol. | C*******M
发帖数: 153 | 9 The whole HVAC system has been 13 years old. It is very possible that the
outdoor unit will be down soon. Also, we may not leave in this house for a
long while, and a new HVAC system will add some values to the house.
I feel that American Standard outdoor unit is noisy. Do you feel the same?
