标 题: 关于草坪翻新的问题st augustine

请问草坪达人，我们请了外面的公司（其实就是老墨）
帮忙把草坪的一半翻新，把旧的草坪拿掉，换新的草皮
但是我看他们拿掉旧的草皮，就拿掉大概2公分厚的薄薄的表层
下面很实的泥土他们都没有动就要放新的草皮
这样新的草皮能活么？我看下面的泥土有很多都像石头一样硬。。
他们说多浇水就能活。。。 | m***y

Yes, they only need to kick of a few inches of sod.
This is bad, better till and mediate the top soil. But that's labor
expensive, so, most companies simply add another layer of top soil. (You can
the old lawn could be several inches above the curbside, if this procedure
is repeated over years.)
If most of your top soil is rock hard, it's already dead. You have to apply
a lot of synthetic fertilizer and weedkiller to keep your grass barely alive
, but that's fine. Actually, that's the status quo of most lawns.
With what I said, they didn't lie on this :) But sod is dense and hard for
water to penetrate, so you better water slow and long. That could be tiring
and boring, better invest in an irrigation system.

老墨来量的时候跟我说800sf,需要2pallet 草皮
给我开价500,最后450成交的
(当时他们在我们家附近的那家干活,所以顺带给我们干的,价格上有些优惠)
我打电话问过其他公司,
一般作2pallet的话都需要800左右
他们都是4pallet起步,做得多有优惠

今天他们已经把草皮放上去了
我只能常浇水了
说要每天2次,每次30分钟,坚持2个月以上..

发帖数: 1943 | 7 今天发现，其实自己买草皮的话1pallet只要150
如果买了草皮自己做的话，也就300刀~.~
而且那活其实就是累点，不是很高难度的活
慢慢做自己也能做
先把杂草除干净了
再买草皮铺上就好了
