还有，地下室装修，楼上是不是还能住人？还是得找别的地方住？

If you have a walkout basement, it's particular a good idea to furnish it.
Even if not, it's still a good investment to improve your living qualify. I
have a fully furnished basement and we spend lots of time in the summer.
Although in winter it's a bit cold, but you could have area heater and the
fireplace. Buy a DE-humidifier if the basement is a little bit damp in the
summer.
There are many good things you can imagine about having a furnished basement
, which I won't elaborate. But keep in mind that a furnished basement will
add value to your house but it won't add the square footage to your house
though.
