There is $80 mortgage insurance, what is it?
Also the tax and insurance escrow: I know the tax is property tax, what is
the insurance that needs escrow? Is that lender's title insurance? I thought
lender's title insurance is one-time payment.

Escrow的insurance不是title insurance而是home insurance（房屋保险）。等到下一
个home insurance payment due的时候，银行会帮您付home insurance payment。
Lender's title insurance 是 one-time payment.

发帖数: 256 | 8 Loan to value 是67% (<80%)的话， 不需要付mortgage insurance。
需要澄清的是，买房贷款，loan to value 中的 value 是purchase price和
appraisal value中低的哪一个。打个比方，你的sales price is 500K, 贷款额是335K
(67% of 500K),但appraisal value 只有410k,那你的loan-to-value=$335/$410=81.7%
> 80%， 就需要付mortgage insurance.
从67% 到 81.7% 这个变化比较极端了，可能不适用于你的情况。

的Homeowner's Insurance，这个不是Mortgage Insurance，是你的房屋保险。有关
