机。Fan设的是auto所以也跟着停了。 再过一会空调启动，有时候blower fan不跟着启
动（过去两星期发生过三次）。既使把Fan打到On也没用。air handler里一点声音都没
有。室外机这时工作正常。但因为blower fan不吹，我只好把机子停掉以免结冰。然后
等大约半小时，一切又恢复正常。
高手看看这是什么原因？是不是哪里堵塞了造成过热而引发过热保护？ |

已经在网上找到capacitor.呆会订一个。
忘了说空调型号了。 Trane XR11.八年来一直很好。air handler 是 TWE042C14FC0。

发帖数: 10056 | 7 Air filter 两个月前换的。应该不脏。没有试blower motor。昨天早上乘不热把run
capacitor 换了。以为是电容的问题。
呆会去试试。

在thermometer处把Fan set to On时handler 处一点声音都没有。
现在motor在动。用手摸了摸assembly。很凉（cool is on）。motor 本身包在里面手
摸不到。有什么好方法不拆开 fan case 。

the control board. supply an isolated 240v to the blower motor to see if it'
s running, if it does, then the fan relays on your control board is
intermittently bad you'll need a new board unfortunately. CAUTION!!!! Don't
kill yourself with 240v AC!!!!! I'm not not suggesting that you do any of
this yourself, I'm not responsible for any property damage, bodily injury or
death.

发帖数: 10056 | 11 感谢Sean的专业指导。指出可能是motor, 或印刷线路板。
在网上读到 如果fan blades 不净可以影响motor 功能。于是决定拆洗motor.
昨天请假在家，乘早晨不热钻进屋顶。切电源，打开air handler 盖。照相，标记（
marker) 接线。然后拆。往外抽的时候发现拿不出来。 fan assembly 比开口大！只好
卸一根中柱，打开evaporator的cover. 最后终于拿出来了。太沉，没法一人把其拿到
地面
。就在attic拆fan cage.
然后把motor, fan cage,拿到garage. cage 用高压水枪洗的铮亮。把motor也拆开擦去
油污，上润滑油。
同时用万用表测了电阻。确定motor 很好。 还把带relay的PCB卸下，仔细的看。象是
好的。
用bleach水把air handler 机箱里的一些mold 也擦洗一净。
于是往回装。这时已过午时。attic 象火炉。在汗洗头脸中，把其装回。
接电，回室内开机。发现风量一下大多了。
经过昨夜和今早的运行。一切正常了。
结论： 空调日常维护还是要做的。wash fan cage, lub, clean coil.
下步准备买coil cleaner把outdoor coil clean一下。
有什么注意事项。

Thanks for the advice and cautions. It lead to a fix without need to run a
separate 240v line. I don't know electricity so was scared to touch it. I am
happy it didn't cost much this time.

I cannot reason with myself why dirty blade or motor can cause intermitten
failure, only time will tell now. Great job!

the load torque (due to lack-of-lube caused friction). Sometimes the
friction is greater than other times due to temperature, humidity, etc..
Hence the intermittent malfunction has been observed.

different house. -- older but better school zone house. Then I'll rent this
house out. Hope AC will hold up.

Sean 可以用我的这个例子建议客户平时保养系统，清洁能使部件轻松运转。
