我看公司对 After-Tax 的解释：
after-tax contributions may be withdrawn at any time regardless
of your age
并且好像after-tax 和 401k一样都有公司的match：
Basic Contributions" are the first 2% to 6% of your
pay that you contribute, regardless of whether you save on a before-tax,
Roth 401(k), or after-tax basis.
只是取出来会被停止3个月的contribution：
Note that if you have been a member of the Plan for fewer than five years
and you:
x withdraw basic (matched) after-tax contributions made after December 31,
1986, or
x withdraw Company contributions that have been in the Plan for fewer than
two years,
then future Company matching contributions will be suspended for three
months following
the withdrawal.
感觉这个After-Tax 挺好，随时可以把钱全部取出来，包括公司的match的钱 | h*******s
发帖数: 616 | 2 如果你看重的是“可以随时取出来”，那可以放 after-tax。但没有必要放 25%。
公司 match 的是 6%，如果放 after-tax，放 6% 就可以拿到全部的 match。其他的，
你可以自己去投资。
如果看重的是“延税”，那就看你的收入和当年的 IRS limit 了。通常所说的“放满
”，并不是指放满 25%。而是放满 IRS limit。
譬如，IRS limit 是 18,000。你的年薪是 100,000。那“放满”的意思是指在 pre-
tax 放 18%。 |
