发帖数: 50 | 1 Sorry to bother all. I got a speed ticket recently. After paying full amount
of bail, I did a trial by written clarification. It has been a month
already but I have not received anything from the court. But I just found
out new appearance date is this Thursday when I visited superior court
website. I am not sure if I should go to the court as I am still waiting for
final judgment from the court. I am in LA. Any suggestion or info would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Actually I called the phone number listed online but I guess the phone
system was really bad. I felt I falled into a trap as it is auto call system
, no one answer it but the options in the system are linked to each other as
a close loop. Anyway, I will try it again but I will not expect much...

one answers. Only auto answer with options linked as a loop.
My question is whether I should go to court tomorrow as I have not received
anything from the court regarding my "trial by written declaration".
Online shows appearance date is tomorrow but does not tell me what time I
should be there.

Actually I paid the bail at the court a while ago before due date and got
the "trial by written declaration" form at the same time. The clerk at the
time told me I need to sent out the declaration form 5 business days before
new due date, which was 2/22. I did so. The mail was received by the court 2
/14 per return receipt with signature. So far I have not received anything
from the court. I guess I need to go to the court tomorrow to see what is
going on. Government needs money...

new apperance date on the website is usually referring to the deadline for
the police to write the report to the court.
However, if you have time, you are free to go to the court and find out. But
I think it is the case. |
