Diamond Bar wrong-way freeway crash leaves 6 dead; driver arrested for DUI,
manslaughter
DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (KABC) -- Six people were killed after a wrong-way
driver smashed into two vehicles on the westbound 60 Freeway in Diamond Bar
Sunday morning.
The driver, identified as Olivia Carolee Culbreath, 21, of Fontana, was
arrested on suspicion of DUI and manslaughter following the crash.
According to CHP officer Rodrigo Jimenez, officials began receiving calls
from witnesses regarding a wrong-way driver traveling in a Chevrolet Camaro
on the 57 Freeway.
Shortly after, additional calls came in regarding the wrong-way driver
traveling within the westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway.
That's when, Jimenez says, the Chevrolet Camaro struck a red Ford Explorer
and then subsequently struck a gray Ford Freestyle near the Phillips Ranch
Road exit around 4:40 a.m. All lanes near the exit were shut following the
accident.
"Unfortunately, it crashed with a Ford Explorer, proceeded and crashed with
a Ford Freestyle," said Jimenez. "We received additional calls after the
collision of the parties that were ejected. We responded quickly and tried
to get here as soon as we can to prevent more collisions from occurring."
The Ford Explorer was cut in half; the Ford Freestyle was also heavily
damaged.
Six people, identified as five females and one male, were pronounced dead at
the scene.
Another victim was transported to Irvine Medical Center; Culbreath was being
treated from a broken femur at ruptured bladder at County USC Medical
Center. She is, however, facing suspicion of DUI and manslaughter charges.
The investigation remains ongoing, but investigators say evidence of alcohol
consumption was found at the scene.

previously convicted of DUI in 2010.
Culbreath was previously convicted of DUI, according to the DMV. Her license
was suspended in January 2010 and she was convicted in April 2010. Her
license was reinstated in December 2011.

死掉的肇事者的老姐以前DUI有9次纪录。从今晚电视上听来的，没看见文字报道。
估计一车人都醉了。 |

其中最上面的黑圈逆行上高速的可能性最大，因为那里57的出口和进口是在路的同一边
的，紧挨着，天黑喝高的情况下确实可以进错口，嘿嘿。。。逆行上了57后，如果沿着
最右边一条lane开（就是carpool lane，看路人post的录像，碰撞确实在carpool lane
上发生的），那开下去就直接变成60号了。
