发帖数: 188 | 1 The annual festival in celebrating Cerritos Folk Dancers’ fifth anniversary
is set on Sunday, June 8, 2014, from 1 to 6 P.M. This time, the festival is
at the Cerritos Senior Center, 12340 South Street, Cerritos, CA 90703. A
copy of the flier can be found at http://socalfolkdance.com/calendar.htm.
The theme of the festival this time is "East Meets West - Wedding." There
will be some dances related to weddings, such as All My Life to You (詩情畫
意), Ashrei Ha'ish (幸福人生), C'est une jeune mariée (This is a Bride) (年
輕的新娘), Could I Have This Dance (一舞定情), Double Happiness (Xi) (囍),
Hora Miresii (Bride's Dance) (羅馬尼亞婚禮舞), Hora Nuntaşilor (Wedding
Guests) (婚禮嘉賓舞, 婚禮客人之舞), Lo Ahavti Dai (I Haven't Loved Enough)
(洛哈地, 愛的期盼), Mairi's Wedding (瑪麗的婚禮), Seeds of Love (Yi Ba Qing
Zhong) (一把情種), Shir Klulot (Wedding Song) (婚禮的祝福), Simchat Hatanim
(新姑爺), Smilyana (明天要出嫁), and Svatba (The Wedding) (婚禮).
This event is sponsored by Folk Dance Federation of California, South, Inc.
You are welcome to participate in this "East Meets West" event to share
dances together. And you are encouraged to wear ethnic or special costume to
the party. Cameras will focus on those with attractive dresses.
Each folk-dance group may request, lead, and/or perform a dance. To do so,
please send the music of your choice to CFD to be scheduled in advance.
The suggested donation is $5. But the pre-payment, if made before June 1,
2014, is $4 per person. You may send the name(s) and the check, payable to
Cerritos Folk Dancers, to “Sue Chen, 20737 Cortner Ave., Lakewood, CA 90715
-1656.” Optionally, you may call Sue Chen at 562 338 2298 for a special
arrangement in making the advanced payment.
There will be finger food served in the field. You are encouraged to bring
food or non-alcoholic beverage to be shared with other dancers. But that is
just optional, not compulsory.
The repertoire is not ready yet. From 1 pm to 6 pm, there will be a few
dance sections. And there will be a special program, which will take thirty
to sixty minutes, during the festival. Unlike our Chinese New Year Festivals
held in January/February, there is no teaching in the May/June Cerritos
Festivals. We will just have fun dancing together and watch some

土风舞简介 (改编摘录)
土风舞一词是由英文Folk Dance翻译而来，它的形成受地形、气候、生活习惯、历史背
景等影响而产生各种独特的舞姿。例如南洋一带印尼、印度、夏威夷等地的土风舞几乎
没有跳跃的动作，而全是摆动身或扭扭手睕的动作，因为在接近赤道的地区气候炎热，
如果不停的跳跃恐怕几分钟就支持不住，反之在寒带国家的土风舞都是跑、跳，旋转等
运动量大的动作，但也有极少数的，例如俄国的亚历山大舞就是一种宫廷式的华士舞，
动作极为柔和，墨西哥的传统舞蹈—帽子舞却是相当激烈。有些相邻的国家如德国瑞士
因地形气候相似故他们的舞蹈几乎相同，相反的同是斯堪地那维亚半岛上的瑞典及芬兰
，因历史背景不同，在舞蹈及音乐上就有很大的差别。
各民族的土风舞演变至今，一部份艺术化之后搬上舞台，但仍保留各民族舞蹈的特色，
一部份则因近世交通发达各民族交往频繁或随着各民族的迁移而传开来，至今有些舞已
无法分辨是属于那一民族所特有的了，例如扑克舞台剧(Polka)本为波希米亚的土风舞
但早已流行各地，今日世界各国都有此种舞法了，方块舞(Quardrille)本起源于欧洲后
随欧洲人移民新大陆后，美国人又加以改编，目前有很多国家都喜欢跳，这类舞蹈已不
属于那个民族所特有而变成国际性舞蹈(International Dance).
一般来说,歐美的舞蹈注重腳的動作富社交意味，東方的舞蹈注重身體臉部的表情，手
頭的動作多
各民族的土风舞，演变至今，一部分艺术化后搬上舞台，以取乐观众为目的，例如芭蕾
舞、踢踏舞。一部分则因为交通工具的发达，而传播开来，成为大众化，娱乐性的舞蹈
，例如社交舞。今日我们所称的土风舞是指仍保存民族色彩，地方风味的舞蹈，现分四
类说明如下：
1.乡土舞蹈(country dance)
狭义的土风舞即指此而言，各地的传说，风俗习惯，历史，地理因素的影响而形成的舞
蹈。例如美国的音乐游戏，墨西哥的蟑螂舞，丹麦的水妖舞，日本的炭坑节。
2.民族舞蹈(National dance)
一种舞蹈是先起源于某一地区，后来流行于全国，例如南斯拉夫的KOLO，意大利的
Tarantella，匈牙利的Csards，墨西哥的帽子舞，Jarabetapatio。
3.国际性舞蹈(International dance)
即社交舞，polka，schottische，Varsouvianne原起源于乡村，后来流传于各国，终致
分不清是那一个国的舞蹈，故称国际性舞蹈。十八世纪流传的华尔滋，十九世纪的one-
step，two-step,美国的双人舞(round dance)，德奥的Lander都属于此类。
4.特征性的舞蹈(character dance)
用特殊的乐器，特殊的服装，道具所表现的舞蹈，例如祭典舞蹈，狩猎舞蹈，战争舞蹈
等。特征性的舞蹈需要较高的技巧，只有在舞蹈学校及舞台上才看得到。
简单的、有趣的乡土舞蹈及社交舞，普遍的受到欢迎，土风舞活动以这两种较为普遍 | s*******1

1. Children will spoil the mood of the dance party. :)
2. The presence of children is a safety risk to the facilities
and may get injured while adults are dancing.
