A top oil & gas service company in Houston, TX has two immediate open
positions: a mechanical engineer and a materials engineer please see below
descriptions for details. Our company typically does not sponsor green card
application for new hires. If you are interested, please email your resume

Qualifications for mechanical/materials engineer position:
M.S. with 3+ years of industrial experience or Ph.D. in mechanical
engineering (solid mechanics)/materials science and engineering.
Available to join the group immediately.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work well individually and in a group.
Self-motivated and creative.
Experience in mechanical testing and data acquisition.
Ability to handle multiple and diverse functions with minimal direction.
Extensive experience in Finite Element Analysis; new cutting element
development; skills in using 3D CAD software (mechanical engineer).
Microsturctural characterizations using SEM, XRD, Raman etc; failure
analyses; experience on ceramic/superhard materials/high temperature and
high pressure processing (materials engineer).
p.s., I am an engineer in the polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) cutter R
&D team and posting the hiring information for my manager. I will be very

chance to reply the requests regarding update. Please let me provide a
second update here: A few candidates who emailed me CVs were phone/onsite
interviewed.
If you were not picked earlier, please stay positive. Our hiring process is
not completed yet. In addition, I forwarded all resumes that I received to
the other hiring manager. As mentioned earlier, I am an engineer here and
what I can do is very limited. I sincerely wish all candidates the best luck

and congratulations on our new hires.
We have a reorganization in the engineer group at our segment. There are
three more openings on mechanical engineers. A manager from the other team
talked to me just now and he's looking to mechanical engineer with hands on
experience and Master or Ph.D degree. Again, please email me the resume (
