the past. Overall, the job security for physicians is pretty good. It's
tougher to get any good jobs in coasts and some big cities, and there are
more job openings in underserved areas. Right now the job market is tight

suburb area does.Some specialty requires longer time training like PATH.In
20 years, population in US will reach 400 million from 300 million. But the
slots for residents each year has no big change.
Current trend is that there will be less reimbursement to specialty. This
time the biggest victims are Radio and Cardio. There will be 42% fee cut in
Echo study and 21% cut in stress test.

I see exactly the same thing as when Hilary started her effort for medical
care reform -- people are trying dumping subspecialty. Of course they were
wrong then and they will be wrong now. Do whatever you like in your heart. |
