5 month in pathology matched into residency, including one pre-matched by

don't believe so discouraging words at all. If you have guts to fight, you
have chance to win, if not, no chance at all. All depending on yourself!!!

What gets me is that people ask the same questions over and over again.
Is it hard when you are fresh out of medical school? Yes! You chicken out because it is hard.
5 yrs later, you are in your 30s, you ask the same question. Is it harder? Yes! You play chicken again.
10 yrs later, you are in your 40s, ask the same question. Is it nearly impossible now? Yes! Now, people tell you that you are not a loser and are a big winner indeed. You thought they really mean it. Then, you go for it.
Funny how some of us behave, huh?
Why wait till then? Just do it. One or two years of study and you can sit back and wait for the offer. The scores do not expire.
