发帖数: 712 | 1 两周前考 step 2 时出了点小问题. During block 4, the computer crashed, and I
was given the same question for the entire block. The Admin of prometric
center called NMBE and reset my exam. Got a letter today from NBME, stating
that I had lost 3 minutes and 41 seconds during that block and offering me
either a retake of the exam free of charge or accept my score as it is which
is 99/237.
Can anybody please give me some suggestions whether I should accept the
score or retake the exam? I would deeply appreciate your help! I just don't
know is this a good score, or a so-so score.
On one hand, I did not know I had lost that much time, all I remember is I had to rush through that block till the last 00:02 for the last question. The whole hassle did affect me a little bit through the rest of the exam. On the other hand, I am already book-free since the exam and do not want to pick up the stuff that gave me so much headache!
What shall I do, retake or accept?Please share your 2 cents with me and thanks! | l******0

发帖数: 61 | 3 If I were you, I won't retake the test. The score is already pretty good and
assume your next score is 243, what is the big difference? Unless you are
sure you should have scored above 250, then you may consider retaking it.
