letter上传之后再邀请美国学生，但是对于国际学生基本上很早决定的。

5 strong LORs, two MDs from observer, one MD from president of ADA, one PhD
from my graduate advisor, one from my thesis committee.
Publication: one 1st author with IF 10, 5 co-author paper, 1 book. Step1, CS
passed.
The biggest problem with my application is that I don't have CK score yet,
so my application is incomplete. The earliest time I can get ck score is the
end of Oct.
So far, no IVs, no rejects.

Case里面的中国人做的很出色，他们喜欢有PHD背景的，去年给大部分有PHD的中国人
发了面试。面试挺严格的，如果面试表现相当出色的话会给PREMATCH。仔细做作功

from last 3 yrs, many CMGs called me to ask IV questions, many of them
couldn't satisfy me with the following questions on:
Tell me something about yourself?
What's your weak points?
why chose Pathology?
what do you know about Pathology?
these are questions which MUST be answered very well and impress PD/interviewers during your
face-to-face IV (other specialties are same!).
Think about these questions and make your impressive answers and practice
over and over to make you reply with no any hesitate and very nature, best:

认识一个CASE的病理住院医，他们给PREMATCH挺早的，还有纽约DOWNSTATE也是很
愿意给老中PREMATCH。都是很不错的PROGRAM，想呆在纽约的话，DOWNSTATE最好
了。如果自己分析一下这两个地方可以接受，可以早一点约面试时间，不过你要是
光看着哈佛、霍普金斯、华大什么的那就另外一回事了。
UAB这两年也都有CMG进去，大概比较欢迎有科研背景的CMG，不过他们自己的PHD一
大堆，所以UAB竞争会比较激烈。
另外病理面试都是一天，每个FACULTY谈半个多小时，的确需要充分准备。不像内科
面试，给你十分钟时间就很不错了，有点像final jeopardy,前面得分再多也没用，
就得靠最后五分钟突出表现，直接sudden death那种。

Case coordinator is an very interesting lady. She really likes chatting on

有个很著名的病理实验室ARUP总部在盐湖城，我估计这个program应该很不错的。不过

during interviews got similar or more than me. Despite that,I still feel it
is not easy this year. I guess more AMG are interested in pathology

My personal observation:
US medical students are more willing to consider pathology than before. The
medical school I am in has 0-1 path applicants 5 years ago, this year they
have 4. Other institutions have a similiar trend.
However, please don't be discouraged by the situation, most of you have
impeccable creds and will be able to match, although may not be a highly
competitive program. Remember this, many great pathologists are trained in
smaller programs, ultimately gold will shine. Which is also my personal
obsevation.

talk with my collegues, the impression is that more AMGs are willing to
consider pathology. It is possible my sampling is biased, as suggested by
