provides federal support to children’s hospitals for pediatric resident
training. However, the future of CHGME is in jeopardy if the US Senate does
not pass legislation that authorizes funding it for another 5 years.
With your help in the past, Congress has provided strong support for CHGME
in the face of cuts and, more recently, elimination. By passing legislation
to extend the program, these threats are significantly reduced.
