每年都有interns drop, CMG也不例外。讨论一些具体的事例如何生存还是挺重要的。
Choosing a fellowship
Private Practice vs Faculty practice
Contract negotiations
Financing your future
Marketing your practice
三年住院医一晃就结束，知道行情和目标，早做计划对于以后的发展应该有所帮助。
2. 05/06/2012 CMGs Symposium (Sheraton Hotel Flushing, confurrent with ACAP
Gala)
打算集中讨论住院医申请和面试问题，
Topic would include:
How to prepare your CV and personal statement for the match
How to sell yourself during an interview
Avoid common mistakes during an interview
Neurology residency application
...
...
如果大家有特别想讨论的代表话题可以提出来，我们可以有目的地请相应的speaker。
此外，ACAP Gala (05/06)当天还会举行Scientific session，特别鼓励CMG参加。大家
手头如果有还未发表的一些prelim data可以考虑。除了增加和Attending们交流的
机会以外，还有物质奖励:) 具体内容如下:
ACAP-contest for best abstract/research project.
ACAP will be holding a contest for best abstract/research project on the
upcoming ACAP Gala on 05/06/2012
Requirement: Single page, cannot be published already
Judging will be based on originality, design, impact and overall value to
community.
Deadline: March 15th.
Process: Judges will read the abstracts and decide by April 1st who the
finalists are for a powerpoint presentation and at the conference
Winner gets $500, 2nd place $300 and 3rd and 4th place $100.
We are hoping to have program directors judging. Robert Nagisawa, program
director of endocrinology at Mt Sinai will be a judge, we will get other
program directors to attend as well. |

三月份的会议主要面对match上的intrn-to-be和现任住院医。正在考试的同学也欢迎，
不过估计你们收益不一定很大。
五月份的会议主要面对申请的同学，至于如何考试就不讨论了。参加会议需要ACAP

5/6号的agenda再过几天能敲定，目前近40人报名。Dr. Eng届时会进行mock interview, 这是一次难得的锻炼自己的机会。我们现在征集5名志愿者参加mock interview，有意者请回复confirmation，first come first service.

备。虽然日程还没有完全定下来，但是时间和地点可以保证。
报名链接下个月会公布，收到一些热情洋溢的信，暂时就不一一回复了。链接公布后还
麻烦大伙重新注册一次。
三月份的会议主要面对match上的intrn-to-be和现任住院医。正在考试的同学也欢迎，
不过估计你们收益不一定很大。
五月份的会议主要面对申请的同学，至于如何考试就不讨论了。参加会议需要ACAP
membership。

5/6号的agenda再过几天能敲定，目前近40人报名。Dr. Eng届时会进行mock interview, 这是一次难得的锻炼自己的机会。我们现在征集5名志愿者参加mock interview，有意者请回复confirmation，first come first service.
