1． 题海战术。5个题库轮着做（UW四遍），从而把知识网越织越密。
2． 各科学习材料详见旧帖。
3． 参加小组时机：复习中期，这样不耽误别人和自己的时间。认真备课讲课，积极参
与方可收获最大。
4． NBME在考前4个月开始，据反馈弥补弱项，扩充知识。
5． 做题要快，按真实考试来压自己。
6． 中后期Goljan audio 及RRP 可帮助融会贯通。
下面的课堂笔记较乱+文法错误+失去了排版，抱歉。

Thanks Jenny for the meeting, I have learned a lot.
A quick note for the meeting, (sorry for any typo)
Start from easy, for example Pathology. Old version Kaplan video might be
good start.
用了5 个题库：
1. Buy UW bank for a year. (Go over in general, and then go into detail.)
2. Kaplan bank is good too, to cover more detail. (Buy one year)
3. USMLE RX is necessary for a good score.
4. Webpath (from Utah Uni): http://library.med.utah.edu/WebPath/webpath.html
5. Tulane Uni pharmacology bank (free)
On-line is better. Invest the money will get the reward of real testing. (go
over 4 times, re-set, mark-unmark the bank, to have fresh test to test
yourself)
It is good to switch the three question banks, to avoid remembering the
questions, but not really understand.
Forget the question, but understand the questions.
Had done questions: 10, 000
Study Strategy:
Study by myself first.
Then joined a group, the group members presented their strongest part. Study
group is good. Should be very active, and be willing to share. Study group
is a very good way to share resources.
Timing of joining a group: medium level would be good. For example, after UW
bank the first time. Therefore, you are not wasting other people’s time,
and you will not suffer from not understanding.
How to study individual subjects:
Pathology: Kaplan video. Webpath: Utah link also have anatomy. Must remember
pictures.
Anatomy: UW is too easy. Kaplan bank is better, it is a must. Real test is
harder. It has CT, all sort of picture. I studied “netter’s clinical
anatomy” as well. However, it only helps a little of the score.
Biochemistry: Kaplan video + FA
Microbiology: FA, remember every word.
Biostatistics+Behavior: FA+Kaplan bank(better than UW)+100 cases of ethics
Pharmacology: A hard high yield subject. You have to go over it many times
to really know it. And try to expand your knowledge, learn to abstract what
you have read.
Neurology: High yield—make sure remember all the paths, blood supplies,
locations. NBME will use the same pictures, but question on different things
. FA is too simple.
Goljan Audio: help me improve my score for 100. (Also, full time study for a
month). You can transfer it to MP3. Listen it when you have time. The audio
is good to study when you are over medium level.
Other points:
Take notes for wrong questions. To really know your questions inside out.
Start NBME at 3 months before test.
Study MTB2 might help with test, especially for who does not have clinical
experience.
NBME must do on-line. If it is high performance, it is good. If it is board
line, or low, you have to expand your knowledge on those subjects. Be
careful of not using it so casual. Stop if you are not reaching your goal.
Expand knowledge, not only memorize, but also understand the knowledge very
well.
Do your questions as a real test model. When taking test, be careful of the
timing.
冲刺阶段怎么提高？rapid review+ Goljan audio, should be able to get points
Do one NBME form without break, .
If full time job, use small pieces of time. Goljan audio, can help with
correct pronunciation, especially for drug names.
In summary,
Use as many q-banks you can have, take turns of doing them. Have to do your
questions quick. Do your mock test as a real test.
Use NBME to instruct you to study, make up your low performance subjects.
You had better to know everything before the test.

It is very helpful, but sorry I missed the skype meeting. Different time
zone. One question, which version is most completed regarding Dr. Goljan
audio? Seems not all subjects were covered, how to get the most-covered ones

Notes：
-从Kaplan video开始打基础
-完成一遍UW题库开始参加小组
-善于利用小组，多点付出便有多点收获。要在能利用到小组资源也能给其他组员一定
的帮助的情况下再参加小组比较好。
-多做题，反复做题。不要只拘泥于一个题库。多个题库可以互补。把三大题库都做了
，另加两个免费题库。
-要收集错题做好笔记，把题要搞透。
-做题到一定程度后可以用NBME测试自己各项水平。不达到high performance的科目要
找书恶补。
-解剖出得很细很难，想做得好可能需要花很多时间。要权衡好自己的目标分数和投入
的精力和时间。有的放矢。
-FA要多扩展，最好小组内有该专业的强人可以专题讲。
-冲刺：rapid review pathology反复听，收集到的错题。反复分析NBME题目，理解所
有题目提供的信息，详细了解给出的图，甚至是没有在nbme出现的部分。 | l*********2
