答案是C。这道题是Fragile X syndrome 吗？如果是，则属于X dominant, 那题中提到
的父母不发病就不可能啊，因为儿子的X是来自于母亲的。实在搞不懂。。。

number of the triple repeats, in female, usually the repeat is less than 200
, they may not show metal retardation or only mild MR.
Q2: you need to link to the X-ray, it clearly shows a lesion in lung, why do
you think about renal? if renal, should have hematouria or increase
creatinin.... |

是Fragile X。
(1) X-link的疾病，现在的看法是x-dominant或者x-recessive的提法签妥当(请看
uptodate或者其他资源）
(2) 对Fragile X来说，5'-UTR的CGG有expansion.
Normal: CGG repeats < 45
Grey zone: 45 < CGG repeats < 55
Premutation: 55 < CGG repeats < 200
Premutation由于有较长的5'-UTR转录出的RNA, 这些RNA可能会特别稳定，作为sink,
和一些重要的蛋白作用，影响这些蛋白的功能。
Full mutation: 200 < CGG repeats
Full mutation的5'UTR被methylated, FXMR蛋白无法表达
Premutation和full mutation的重要差别是premutation仍然可以表达FXMR蛋白。所以
premutation和full mutation的症状非常不一样。premutation表现的提前绝经在full
mutation患者里看不到.
(3)为什么答案是C
妈妈是premutation, 在年轻的时候可能是正常的, 所以题目里讲 "the parents
appear to be healthy". 携带premutation的女性，可能的症状是提前绝经: 会在三十
几岁或者四十几岁绝经；另外到了年纪更大些可能会有tremor或者ataxia.
所以妈妈的两条染色体里，有一条带有premutation. 或者说，妈妈是carrier.
那么妈妈把premutation传给女儿的概率是 50%. 所以四个女儿里，从概率上说有两个
会是carrier.
(4) Fragile X和Huntington一样，属于是"anticipation"类的，也就是说，在同一个
家族的几代人里，由于CGG repeats （对huntington来说是CAG), 一代一代增加，疾病
在一代一代里，会越来越严重，疾病的发生的年龄也会越来越早。
