A. Download Anki software from website and install it to the computer
https://apps.ankiweb.net/
note: different versions for different platforms---PC vs Mac vs Mobile,
etc...
B. Create one flashcard ONLY with a front field and back field at a time
1) create a template flashcard with a front field and back field in Anki
2) "copy" and "paste" whatever you like to front field
3) "copy" and "paste" whatever you like to front back field
4) click "add" and "close"
5) now a flashcard is added to Anki
C. Create multiple flashcards at a time
1) create a template flashcard with a front field and back field in
Anki using steps in section B
2) use Excel to create a 3 columns table
3) whatever in column A is mapped to front field
4) add whatever you like appear in the front field to column A, 1
content/row
5) add a separator '|' to column B for all rows/cells
6) whatever in column C is mapped to back field
7) add whatever you like appear in the back field to column C, 1 content
/row
8) export the excel file as text file
9) now each row in the text file is equal to a flashcard in anki
10) import this text file into anki and select "|" as field separtor
11) now many flashcards are made
