底查出乳腺癌(原发)，动了手术。左侧全切，发现有淋巴转移。经过术前两次和术
后4次化疗后，5月份 CT 报告似有肺部和肝部转移。妈妈很受打击。
我爸还在上班，平时家里虽有保姆但妈妈总是很孤独很闷。因为我是独女，这种时候，
妈妈特别想和我在一起，更想念三岁的外孙女。所以妈妈想带上国内配的药来美国住两
个月。家里人商量后也觉得换个环境对她或许有好处，
我有几个问题想问问各位。
我妈在看中医。是否有人知道中草药(那种大包的要自己煎的) 在美国入关会有麻烦吗
？如果带不进来，在美国能配到吗？我们在 Washington DC 地区。
我妈在打‘胸腺肽’，提高免疫力的。英文THYMOSIN ALPHA-1，又称 Zadaxin (
Thymalfasin)。这种药在美国能配到吗？那是皮下注射的，要用针筒。据说针筒在中国
没有熟人是买不到的，不知在美国有卖吗？
另外，关于我妈的疾病，想问问肿瘤专家们：
1。CT 报告的阴影有多少概率是癌？有必要做 PET SCAN 吗？
2。医生给配了XELODA (希罗达)，但我听说该要 |

I know two millionaires' wives died a couple years ago of cancers. They
didn't hold long under US BEST care. One of the husband is a billionaire.
On the contrary, China is much better than US if you can get a good doctor
for two reasons:
1) there is not much regulation as US.
2) herbs can help patients recover faster.
That's why your mother is bringing herbs to us.
If she wants to be here, just get the visa first. Others should be trivial. If |

发帖数: 39 | 5 Thank you for the concern. Visa shouldn't be a problem since she's been here
before and always went back on time, if not earlier.
But she really needs those medicines, herbs and the Thymosin, even if it's
just for mental relief. That's why we need to make sure that she still has
access to them when staying here.
. If she could not get visa, which might hurt her feelings,, or.... That's
the worst you might need to worry.

stay here. If anything happens, she'll probably fly back to get care. Is
this a bad idea?
I am just wondering if the Thymosin is available here. Seems that nobody

1) get visa first.
2) buy herbs in china, you right a letter for your mother, she can show at
customs that those herbs are for her personal use.
3) if anyting happened, you can still get those herbs in US, so recipes
4) don't buy any insurance in US, if she needs to see a doctor, just send
her in. figure out how to get waiver stuff, let your mother sign the
paerworks... |
