给开了一些药，吃了2周了，基本没什么效果，好像还有加重的迹象。请问谁能推荐好

if he smokes, he needs to quit smoking, including people living around him,
as second hand smoking is another very important risk factor,
he has to understand, that once COPD/emphysema/chronic bronchitis is
established, the damages to the lungs are irreversible,
however, there are things he could do to slow down the progression of the
disease, starting from
1. quit smoking,
2. get scheduled vaccinations including pneumovax, flu shots annually,
3. keep up with hydration,
4. keep inhaled bronchod

Don't confuse being dependent with being "addicted". The first means there
is a real physical need to relieve symptoms. As emphysema is irreversible,
he won't get "healthier" by staying off oxygen tanks.
