刀，我实在是没有那么多钱，听说可以向医院要折扣，我就试探的讯问医院，可是这件
医院说没有其他的折扣了，说我的2000多刀已经是他们折扣以后的了。这种情况，我该
怎么交涉呢？难道MRI本身就没有什么折扣吗？一般对私人医院应该怎么交涉呢？谢谢

name is.
If the hospital regularly accepts your insurance (i.e. your insurance
company is listed on their list), they cannot charge more than that rate,
and you only need to pay the co-pay amount. You can let your insurance
company deals with them.
If your insurance is not normally accepted by the hospital, you are then at
the mercy of the hospital. |

2000.所以我不晓得该怎么办了。不知道现在是不是应该要点折扣呢？一说折扣，他们
就说让我分期付款。可是我即使分期付款，也觉得2000太多了。

is an in-network hospital.
For example, assume your deductable is 20%, the hospital asks for 10000
total, you are responsible for 2000. Now the insurance company say that
the discount rate should be 5000, so they pay 5000 * 80% = 4000 to the
hospital. Your co-copy should be 1000 (5000 * 20%) instead of the original
2000. This information should be in the letter your insurance company sent
to you.

发帖数: 73 | 9 保险公司的EOB写这个医院的charge过高，大大高于市场价格，他们只能按照市场价格
来付，所以他按照市场价格的4000*70%来付了，剩下的高于市场份额的部分就都让我来
付了。这种情况，我该怎么办呢？因为保险公司是out of network，所以医院没有什么
折扣给保险公司。 |

发帖数: 1190 | 10 如果你在做MRI之前，给了他们你的保险卡，即使你的保险卡在网外，医院也应该承担
损失。
我在去年和楼主有一模一样的经历，也是MRI,也是网外，也是高额帐单。我的保险公司
只付1500美元，我打电话给医院的Billing department,叫我把支票直接转给他们，还
告诉我只要付500块本该付的deductible,我把保险公司的文件及支票转过去后，他们连
那500块都忘记问我要，直接close了。
所以这事一定要多打电话争取。他们没verify你的保险，责任在他们。 |
