发帖数: 193 | 4 Don't scare people. Vein thrombus does not cause gangerene or lead to
amputation, arterial thrombus does sometime. However, DVT might migrate and
dislodge to a pulmonary artery which could be life threatening.
Patient might need IVC filter placed to prevent the clot up to the heart
while waiting the body disolve the clot by its own. And follow the clot with
time. If the clot disappears, IVC filter could be removed and blood thinner
therapy could be stopped. Patient might need coumadin therapy for certain
time to prevent the recurrence. Most importantly, the reason for causing DVT
should be investigated, so it will not happen again.
There is no OTC meds to disolve the clot.

发帖数: 2644 | 5 昨天带岳父去看来彩超,没有发现问题,今天腿已经不疼了,应该是肌肉拉伤所致.只不过
我岳父的母亲有过动脉血栓,才有此担心.
