（紧跟Tonight Show后的一档节目）已经十来年，Leno只是Tonight Show的代班主持（
Guest Host),当时的Tonight Show主持Carson在干了30年后终于要退休了，Letterman
本以为熬到头了可以顺理成章接任Tonight Show的主持了，却没想到被Leno出人意料地
抢走了，他一气之下离开NBC加入CBS开始了The Late Show，在同一时段播出，这就开
始了两人十八年的直接竞争。
历史总是在不断重复自己，最近Leno又气走了前Late Night show的主持Conan O'Brien。
