发帖数: 2868 | 2 staying at traverse city around this time isn't cheap, you are looking at
over $100 a night. if u wanna to save money, you can search around, there
are cities around sleeping bear dunes that have much lower hotel rate. The
other option is to camp. The campsite costs like 20 bucks per night,
something like that, i don't remember the exact price now, just call
sleeping bear dunes and ask. When i went there last yr, i camped in sleeping
bear dunes, bought the sleeping bag, tent, but later returned them after
the trip, :). So it only costed us 20 bucks to stay there, which was
certainly a bargain.
as for the places to see in sleeping bear dunes, please google 戴硕北密。 if
you have the time(3 days, approx) and energy, certainly hike trail #9/dunes
side trail and go to the island on the northeast side of sleeping bear
dunes. FYI, #9 is really short in terms of distance, but it is like a 50 deg
incline, which will require a lot of body strength, but the place is just
simply gorgeous. The island and the dunes trail are approx 7 miles each (
around trip).
