乌兹别克是最伊斯兰宗教化的前苏民族。
维族本身差别很大，有一片新华社报道，讲七五后一个喀什维族村庄，
里面的人都是浩罕国叛乱时留下的中亚叛乱分子后代，这次七五有被判死刑的。
解放后，这些人都被划为维族。
所谓维，乌相近，可能就是指这些祖先中亚的维人。
