Not only China but Pakistan is also ahead of India in defence
preparedness. It is reported that Pakistan has more nuke arms than
India. Even the terriorists are better equipped with latest weapons than
our armed forces. Let it be UPA of NDA Government when ever defence
arms/equipments were purchased, scams were reported. Unless the attitude
of our leadership is changed, modernization of our armed forces will
remain in dreams.

It would be foolish to compare indian army with the chinese. To be
specific the chinese air force is four times as strong as indian air
force and it will take mere few days to overwhelm india. By giving these
type of statements india is trying to fool the ignorant indians in the
name of patriotism or may be they need to pay more to fulfil the basic
necessisities of the army who are having a lavish life style.

There is no need to be concerned and worried, Mr Antony. You have a
strong army, air force and navy, which cannot compete Chinese. Do not
fool us the people to justify new military purchases. Just keep talking
and talking and talking and more talking to resolve the issues with
Chinese, because "War is not an option". On what basis are you spreading
lies? We understand the need to make money by looting tax payers, but
without holding talks, you cannot do that, just keep talking Mr Antony.

Someone once said be polite but carry a big stick in case you have to
use it. India should approach China as if it means business putting all
the rhetoric aside. When Chinese talk they mean it, or they have already
done it and they want to inform India later. India should have a capable
spy network that can get information out of that country without their
knowledge. They do it 24/7. That is how the US outsmarted the Soviet
Union and caused its demise. To run a nation as vast as India the
leadership has to assess dangers to its security from within as well as
around. To achieve that India must begin by removing those officials
from offices that look to their interests first and put country
second.Pakistan is an example ,a country steeped in corruption with
military take overs over the period of its existence. Egypt is a good
example where the people threw away its leader because he was corrupt.

system by correctly punishing the corrupt. That is what is not
acceptable to Indian politicians. The corrupt politician will also

There is nothing wrong in china taking over india with unpatriotic,

defense instead of getting worried of Chinese modernization programs.
Any nation that don't get modernized with time will face problems like
1962 war.... so instead of blaming China be prepared for all uncertain

Yes but Mr. Defence Minister please do a bit of soul searching. What are
you doing to counter? You are busy in cancellations of vital equipment
required by army. What has happened to the artillery pending since 20
years? What is the status of fighter jets? Today the squadren level is
reduced to 32 from 39.5 and yet after endless trials you are still to
finalize the order. You have blacklisted all the artillery
suppliers.What are your priorities? Is national security not important?
If so why are you sitting on beaurocratic hurdles and not take bold
decisions? You are answerable to our billion people. If only you had
completed vital procurements our nation will not have to face the
humiliation of bending to pressure from china, pak because we let off
some spies in the garb of tourists, some famous singer getting caught
recently. Even small countries can put us under pressure and we buckle
and yet we aspire to be a UNSC member. Pl do some soul searching.

China is the number one threat to our national security. It has gobbled
up Tibet and Part of of our Kashmir because of our unpreparedness.
Indian Government needs to work agreesively on two fronts if it has to
save India. It must eradicate corruption and blackmoney and chanellaize
the Tax collected from the people in building 5th generation fighter
aircrafts, missile systems. Build roads, runways and infrastructure
along the entire Himalaya range. India needs a new blood in the
leadership. We should have Zero tolerance for any encroachments in our
territories by eithe the Chinese or Pakistanis forces.We also want to
know from the Government what is it doing to recover the land taken up
by China and Pakistan in Kashmir.

Dear Minister, Your Govt. is indulging the fellow ministers to loot /
swindle the public money which runs into lakhs and lakhs of crores.
Whereas China is spending public money for the country's welfare. This
is the major difference between India and China. There laws are very
stringent and anybody swindles public money will be executed. Whereas in
India the minister or any politicians who loots the country and public
money is hailed as hero and are being protected by the political system.
One day china will be a nightmare for us and these bloddy swindlers will
be punished by them only as our Government is helpless.

Mother India's foreign policy should be tit for tat then only small and
bigger countries would take us seriously. Unfortunately we are behaving
like an younger sister with all other countries especially with U.S. who

The perception is right. But the prepardness is lethargic. China has
nothing to offer to India except an agenda hostile but under the guise
of friendship. China's failure to recognise cross boarder terrorism
emenating from accros the boarder and the failure to agrre to the
sanctions against a few terrorist groups are not in conformity of a
country which is a permanent member of UNSC. The military assistance
given to Pakistan is conspicuoulsy against India. China's membership in
the world forum and her covert operations against India entails sppedy
reformation in the UNSC as China is all out to oppose any amicable
solutions in favour of India. India is bound to oblige to the
resolutions even if it is unfustifialbly vetoed . Well, the political
leadership in India though has realised the deceptive and one sided
relationship with China, has many miles to trod to match up to the
Chinese power. Better late than never.

It may sound out of place to use the title for one of the most upright
ministers of mordern day India. But uprightness doesn't mean lack of
decision making - on the contrary it should mean fearless and determined
approach to solve India's security concerns. With his reputation Mr.
Antony was on a great footing to pursue mordernisation and privatisation
of India's defence program. However India has been found wanting in
response to the growing threat for past 5 - 7 years. The defence sector
has not been opened for the private firms, neither the acquisition of
weapon systems, aircrafts and aircraft carrier has taken a desirable
course. Currently China has encircled Indian Peninsula and is a real
threat not only from NorthEAst but from South East, South and WEst
too...India needs to move & move fast now - else the Story will be that
of 'Dragon Encircling the Elephant & overpowering it'. Add to this
dependence on Chinese Power Equipment by private players will land india
in big Trouble

You are 100% right. we are nowhere near china in anything: be it defense
force, industry, exports, inherence strength of economy. The best
strategy for India is just to keep quiet instead of trying to compete
with China and frittering away our resources in defense building. Just
manage our country properly and do not antagonize this giant. If you rub
them on the wrong side, you will get hurt severely. This is the real
situation, difficult to hear, but have to reconcile with.

China wants to dominate the south asian region and india is a big
obstacle in its way. China will never eccept India as one of the
regional power and there will always be threat from their side. That's

CHINA & USA both are befooling INDIA on the subject. No one is innocent.
